Retiring Rooms and dormitories facilities are available at Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Gokarna Road
and Udupi stations over Konkan Railway, to those passengers holding valid tickets for inward /
outward journey.

How to get accommodation at Karwar and Gokarna Road Stations : Vacancy positions
are generally notified on the Notice Board near Enquiry Counter. Otherwise the vacancy
position may be ascertained from Station Manager. Room/Bed will be allotted, if available,
after verification of your ticket. You will also be required to pay stipulated charges before the
keys of the room are handed over or the bed number in the Dormitory is allotted to you.
Charges for retiring room/Dormitory are calculated for 12/24 hours or part thereof. Charges
will be collected for the full day irrespective of hours of stay
Rates for 1st/2nd 24 hrs. period will be same as per the tariff indicated. Further extension
(3rd) will be chargeable at 1.5 times of the normal tariff. No extension beyond 72 hrs (3rd)
will be entertained.
Extra bed will be chargeable @
₹
50/- for 12 hrs, ₹75/- for 24 hrs. for Karwar and Gokarna.
Rates are vary based on the season / non-season period. The season / non-season period
is as under :
Season period : During period 1 August to 14 June.
Non-season period: During Period 15 June to 31 July.
